Kavia Auto Body was started in Africa 45 years ago by Mr. Lalji Kavia who specialized in automotive services. The Kavia family then moved to Europe where they gained experience in innovative technologies at the time ( such as using base coat clear coat). In 1983, Kavia Auto Body moved to Canada and set up home in Saskatoon in a small facility on 11th street. In 1986, Kavia Auto Body moved again to a larger facility on Avenue B North. At this location, the specialization shifted from a major focus on auto body restoration services to collision repair. In 2007, Kavia moved to a grand space in downtown Saskatoon on 1st Avenue North.

In the past, Kavia Auto Body has teamed with the Kelsey Auto Body Technician Program to help aid the students in their education. This has included touring the students in our facility, aiding in the curriculum, loaning tools, and a student placement program.
Kavia Auto Body is committed to creating a positive workforce. This includes equal opportunities and a workforce that physically resembles our community, which is in fact diverse. To be truly committed to our community is to have a workplace that resembles our community. We have worked with Kelsey's Auto technician Aboriginal Placement Program and currently have one of their past students in our paint department. Furthermore, we have worked with Province of Saskatchewan and the Special Needs Program Unit and hired a mentally challenged person who helped us with our day-to-day cleaning our facility. Therefore, we view our workplace diversity as an asset and believe that it enhances workplace effectiveness.
Kavia Auto Body believes in giving back to the community it serves. We also work with the following organizations:
